What is Family Fun Day?
RE/MAX Family Fun Day is an event organized my the RE/MAX Children’s Miracle Network Committee of Calgary. The purpose of the event is to unite friends and families for a fun filled day! All proceeds from the event are in support of the Children’s Miracle Network and Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation
Who’s the RE/MAX CMN Committe?
The RE/MAX CMN Committee Is a group of REALTORS and industry professionals who’s purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Miracle Network and Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Members of this committee get together each and every month to plan and organize unique and exciting events that help generate awareness surrounding our charities. Each member donates their time and resources free of charge. For more information about the committee and its members please click here
Who can attend?
We encourage everyone to attend this awesome event! Although Family Fun Day is geared towards younger kids there are plenty of awesome activities for people of all ages!
What are the rules of admission?
If you would like to attend the event there is absolutely no cost. However if your kids would like to participate in any of the various activities there is a fee of $15 which gives them ability to participate in all the games etc..
Guest or kids who have purchased tickets online or at the door will receive a Family Fun Day wristband which grants them access to participate in the all the activity stations.
Do I have to purchase a wrist band?
No. its is not a requirement to purchase a wrist band if you do not intend on participating at the activity stations. However we would greatly appreciate a small donation for attending our event. You can make your donation at the door or online via our ticket purchasing website (Eventbrite)
Will There be Food?
Yes! There will be lots of food! We will have a large BBQ at the event serving up hamburgers and hot dogs as well as chips and a drink.
There will be lots of parking. We are fortunate enough that this venue has a significant amount of available parking stalls as well as an overflow lot directly across the street. Alternatively if you are taking city transportation there is a train station within a 2min walk (Somerset)
Should I bring money?
In short yes… Its a good idea to bring some cash to the event. There are some banks nearby but unfortunately there is no ATM machines at the venue. Since there is food and beverages for sale as well as a fantastic marketplace we’ve found in the past it is a good idea to have a little cash on hand.
How long will the wait be for Facepainting?
Last year we agree that face painting was a bit of a nightmare. It is an extremely popular activity and as such we have ramped things up this year by adding more face painters and two separate face painting booths. This year we are confident the wait will be minimal.
Im a Realtor how do I get my discount code?
We love it when our colleagues come out to our RE/MAX events! As such we’ve created a $5/per ticket discount when RE/MAX realtors purchase 10 or more tickets. Realtors are encouraged to buy the tickets in bulk and then forward the online ticket to their clients via email or in person. Clients, friends or family can then bring in that ticket form and redeem it for an all access wrist band. Realtors who do not purchase 10 tickets or more will not receive a discount and will instead have to purchase a regular All Access Pass. ** Please note discount only applies to RE/MAX Realtors**
